At TRACKING THE CRISIS we were devastated to learn of the shattering loss of our dear friend and colleague David Cobb on Labor Day. TRACKING THE CRISIS would not exist if it wasn’t for David, who helped convene the meeting from which the idea for it first emerged and then suggested Mel Figueroa to take on the role of producing TTC each week. Tributes to David are now appearing from the many, many people across the United States and around the world whose lives he touched – especially younger people whom he mentored and encouraged with his boundless energy. A mighty tree has fallen, a brilliant bright star has gone out. We are heartbroken at his loss. 

TRACKING THE CRISIS will return next week with a double-issue. Hold your loved ones close in these challenging, difficult times.
