Expect fresh ideas, thought-provoking speakers, community stories, lively discussion, and the chance to connect with others who are ready to make positive change happen.

Keynote Speaker

Neil McInroy

Neil McInroy serves as the Global Lead for Community Wealth Building at The Democracy Collaborative. Neil led the Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) for 20 years, pioneering Community Wealth Building (CWB) and the Preston Model. He later advised the Scottish Government on national CWB policy and chaired strategic reviews on inclusive business and energy transition. He now chairs the Economic Development Association Scotland (EDAS). Neil’s work combines policy innovation, practical delivery, and thought leadership, positioning CWB as a transformative approach to the economy that prioritises equity, resilience, and democratic ownership.
