Next System Teach-Ins Organizer Workshop

Next System Teach-Ins Organizer Workshop

Why Next System Teach-Ins?

Learn how you can help grow this global wave bringing local people together — on college campuses, in neighborhood centers, union halls, and public spaces — united in building a system that sustains the future we all deserve.

📅 Friday, June 26

🕓 12pm ET

📍Virtual event – join from anywhere

In this session, we’ll start at ground zero to tackle the questions of:

What is the Next System framework and where does it come from?
We’ll break down the origins and core ideas so you can ground your work in a clear, shared vision.

What is a teach-in, and what role have they played in social movements?
We’ll explore the historical impact of teach-ins and how they’ve advanced pressing movements—so you can carry that legacy forward.

How can organizing a NS Teach-In advance the work you're already doing?
We’ll connect the dots between this framework and your existing campaigns, so your local efforts gain new depth and reach.

How do we use teach-ins to mobilize and connect our communities?
We’ll move beyond critique to action—turning your campus or neighborhood into a space where people not only understand the crises we face, but also imagine and build the system we do want.

This workshop will also hold space for local organizers at all parts of their planning journey to share news, updates or questions about their teach-ins.
